  • QuestionHi does the larger element on this range also actually have a larger magnet? Will it heat the entire bottom of a 12 inch pan? I have read that most lower end ranges sometimes only come with 6 inch magnets/elements, but I do often use a larger pan.

    Asked by Jeremy.

    • Answer Great question Jeremy about the largest cooking element of the induction cooktop of this Samsung range model. The largest cooking element, located on the right front of the cooktop, has a diameter of 11 inches, it will only heat up to 11 inches. The element can accommodate a minimum diameter of 7.25 inches from the bottom of the cookware. The inner ring of each Cooking Zone is your guide to the correct minimum pan size. The pan bottom must fully cover the inner ring for proper cooking to occur. The thicker outer ring at each Cooking Zone is helpful to determine the maximum pan size. After centering the cookware on the cooktop, make sure the cookware does not extend more than 1/2" beyond the thicker line on the Cooking Zone. The pan must fully contact the glass surface without the bottom of the pan touching the metal cooktop trim. Leo

    Asked by MMTM.

    • Answer Hi MMTM. Glad you ask about your range oven. The range oven is a regular electric oven. • QuestionIs the cooktop and the oven free of PFOA, PFAS, PFOS, PTFE, lead, Teflon, cadmium, AND other toxic materials??? If not, can you suggest another model that would be 100% safe for birds when the oven, cooktop or self cleaning are being used?

    Asked by MaryCici.

    • Answer Hi MaryCici. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I appreciate your taking the time to raise this inquiry regarding the 6.3 cu. ft. Smart Instant Heat Slide-in Induction Range. Most Samsung range advises never to keep pet birds in the kitchen. Birds are extremely sensitive to the fumes released during an oven self-clean cycle. Fumes may be harmful or fatal to birds. Move birds to a well-ventilated room. Please follow the link for the details on page 13. https://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/202112/20211214154921478/NE63B8211-00_EN-MES-CFR_211208.pdf In case of repairs will be needed, please take note of your warranty coverage: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/warranty/NE63B8211SS/AA One (1) Year Parts and Labor Should you need more assistance, please feel free to get back to us via the following options: 1.
