Hi iPadawan, We are happy to help you understand the convection+ (true convection) of this Samsung range model. The fan of a Convection+ system includes a heating element compared to a basic convection system that has no heating element in its fan. Equipping a heating element in the fan system gives the oven more than 1 heat source when either broiling or baking. Faster and even heating are achieved when broiling or baking through Convection+ Leo
