“Is the screen (panel) manufactured by Samsung or a Vendor as was the case in the last several years? I specifically want one manufactured by Samsung.”

• The 60" panel is other than Samsung, EA01 is the code indicating it is not a Samsung panel. Samsung does not make a 60" panel. However, after calibration, mine is fantastic. The angle of view is a little less than a real Samsung panel, but I sit directly in front of the TV.

• Samsung manufactures their own panels for their SUHD displays under a quantum dot enhancement film (QDEF) license from a company called Nanosys. Nanosys also licensed their QDEF technology to 3M and 3M manufactures the panels used by Vizio, Hisense, and TCL.
