I had this problem on my 46" Samsung after only 4 months.. A known problem by Samsung..Its and internal board/power supply issue. Samsung (warranty) had to send a repair company to change out board inside. The repair guy said he does 5 a day (Samsung HDTVs) for same issue and said its cheaper for Samsung to fix the handful vs recall or remanufacture correct part. Happens on all sizes of Samsung TVs over last 5 yrs with ave failure rate at about 1-2%
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Unfortunately yes...I have the 55in KS9000 model for about 45 days. YESTERDAY it started blinking off and back on for about an hour then started playing ok. Today it did it again when I turned it on. Love the TV but this is obviously an issue. Will contact BB geek squard since I purchased warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If the TV is paused on the same picture for a period of time the TV will likely shut itself off to prevent "burn in" where an image becomes a permanent ghost on your screen. Otherwise, I might guess that a sleep timer could be set that could be deactivated in the settings.
