• I had an lg 240 rate and the Samsung 120 is better. Not sure why, but it was night and day compared to that tv.

• 1080 p needs at least 140hz to produce better quality picture(speed motion like car race or any sport) for 4K 120hz is enough because 4 time higher resolution when compare with 1080p. For normal 4K TV 120 then 4K 3D TV you must have 240hz otherwise you enjoy any 3D motion pictures. Really all 4k tv using 60hz the max. Now 120hz is max for all 4K TV(non 3d)

• It only matters for fast changing scenes like racing or football etc
