The native refresh rate for this model is 60Hz, as the picture on the screen will change 60 times every second. While 60Hz is good, 120Hz is now top of the standard. Don't get confused with its advertised 120 Clear Motion Rate, which is a different Samsung standard altogether. Anything being advertised 240, 480 or higher "refresh rates" are just marketing gimmicks. Hope this helps, the technology begin advertised in today's TV industry can get customers confused, lost and stuck out in the "weeds."
