“I Love the features of this tv. Does this tv have a resolution adjustment for 1080P? I have cox cable here in Phoenix and I'm not sure I will be able to enjoy the benefits of digital on a lot of the channels due to most of the viewing I do are only Hd?”

Yes, within the settings menu. You are probably best off leaving it set to automatic though if you are not familiar with the nuisances.
