“Can this TV be mounted above the mantle piece and gas fireplace pictured below? Will the heat generated from the fireplace cause any type of damage or combustion to the TV?”

• I would not think that the heat generated by your Fireplace would be an issue. Your Mantle would block an extremely high percentage of any heat rising towards where the TV will be mounted. I am sure it will look great for many years.

• We have had a 46" Samsung flatscreen t.v. over our mantle/fireplace for the past fifteen years without any problem whatsoever.
