Can I hook this up to my Bose Wave CD/radio for sound? null

You can via optical but it will take you a few minutes to an hour to make it work. Hard aware is too simple can't detect if it's been in use even if you set it up to optical you have to do a second setting to the tv sounds options to make it work.
