“Im wondeing if it will work with Google assistant? Also can I connect it to smart things?And from a galaxy note 10+ can I change the volume and channel from my phone if you cant do any of these can you buy a adapter or somthing so u can do 1 or 2 of these”

I'm not sure about the google assistant . But the smarter things app allows you full control of the tv. The only thing you can't do with the app is turn the tv ON. you must turn it on manually or with the remote before your phone will be able to control it
