“Model 65" picture and sound comtrol The 65 inch will only control turn on, turn and turn off and get picture only when using my old Sony control box However the 65" control will control the audio on and off and volume up or down. How do I provide all control on the Samsung control box ?”

I DO NOT BELIEVE YOU WILL BE ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH YOUR OBJECTIVE. I CANNOT CONTROL TV VOLUME WITH DIRECT TV REMOTE, BECAUSE DIRECT TV TELLS ME THAT ITS REMOTES NEED UPDATING TO BECOME COMPATIBLE WITH THE NEWER TVS NOW ON THE MARKET. I CAN TURN SAMSUNG TV ON/OFF with DIRECT TV REMOTE, but cannot adjust volume.
