I would check your local laws and insurance company, but generally, if it's not a power cord, it can be run through the wall. If your not sure, play it safe and buy an authorized kit, best buy sells them, that allows you to run all cables, including power, through the wall.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I successfully ran it into and down thru the wall but you are limited as to how far you can run it due to length of cable and how much you plan to move tv. i have it mounted on a Cheetah wall mount which extends out to 23".

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes but it's not very long. I used Velcro to attach the box on the back of the TV before I hung it on the wall. All my HDMI cables and USB cables are then run through the wall to my devices.
