• Turn off auto motion plus on the picture settings and you will thank me. Worst setting to have on. Gives it the "soap opera effect", the blurring your seeing.

• I haven't experienced anything even remotely close to your problem with my set. Have to ask if you are using a very good quality and "certified" HDMI cable? From what I've read in some of the AV forums online that seems to be the main problem with picture quality.
