“Can the width of the legs be adjusted so that they are closer together?”

• Yes they can. I almost didn't buy this wonderful set because the feet were too wide, but a Samsung rep showed me alternate slots closer to the middle. In that position the width between the feet is just under 40"

• The 60" and 65" versions have two leg placement positions, while the 49" and 55" versions have one leg placement position.

• Yes they can. The first thing I did was replace the god awful chrome feet with a black, steel and glass swivel stand. Much better.

• Both other answers are correct(sorta), the 65" model offers adjustments while i believe the 55 does not.

• Yes the legs are adjustable to 3 set widths. The stock picture shows the most wide position
