Naturally, performance is entirely subjective. That being said, there are enough settings on this TV to create whatever picture attributes you want. After some fiddling, performance in a dark room (for me at least) is excellent.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My configuration does well. I don't know about the default settings though. This tv offers ambient sensors to adjust the backlight, has a very nice range for backlighting, and also offers power saving settings that will end up adjusting your backlighting as well. For me, its the perfect TV, anything better costs twice as much easily.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Amazing!!!! We have red walls and only watch TV at night because we work during the day and it's beautiful you can't go wrong!! I saw the same thing in the reviews before I bought mine and the people that left bad reviews for the quality and a dark room must not have that thing set right!! Here is a picture of my cousin (who does the Domino's commercials) when our room is dark the colors are absolutely vibrant!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm having horrible problems with light bleed coming from the edge lit LED's on the top and bottom black parts when watching movies. Kind of a cloudy look. Thinking about taking it back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to reviews on the internet from places like CNET, Vizio P-series is the best picture in dark rooms and the Sammy outperforms in bright ones.
