“When I watch movies on this TV there are horizontal black bars across the top and bottom of screen as the picture does not fit the screen. I've tried adjusting the picture settings but doesn't help. Some movies fit the screen and some don't. Any ideas?”

It depends on the source. HDTV is 16:9 where most movies are Letterbox. This is not a problem with your TV.

However, movies are usually filmed with a ratio of 21:9, which will result in black bars at the top and bottom of the picture when it is displayed on the average TV. ^Rosi
