LM, the difference as far as I can tell is that the 6300 comes with a remote with additional features. Exactly what those features are now that I have been using my 6290 for a while, I am not sure about. I guess I don't miss them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can't be missing out on that much? Most things connect via HDMI nowadays. But what you're referring to is the AV jacks. Samsung decided to get rid of your typical RCA and Component ports and replace them with those splitters. I think it's convenient because it gets rid of all those extra plugs. BUT to answer your question, the 6290 should come with these as mine did when I bought it.
