Yes and no. You need to be careful of the light in the room. It can cast a bad reflection onto the screen since it is a glossy finish.

Now that we have it home we still think so since we have seating for 8 in an arc in front of it with a couple more side chairs way off the the sides. When on sale it is very close to same price as flat. Only downside, is if you have a light in room that is in a bad spot I noticed it shows up in 3 spots on tv when you sit directly in front of it. So we have chosen a different light to have on instead of recessed cans in ceiling. Either way you will love 65 inch 4K.
