• Consumer Reports rates the 8500 & 8000 which is the flat screen The same... rated as " good"

• I have to 65 inch curved I don't have any issues with the faded at all from any angle the picture quality is awesome

• The 85 doesn't seem to fade at all. Both looked good in the store but the 8500 cost less so we went with it.
