“How far does the stand hang out in front of TV I need to set it on a mantle”

• It sits about 4 1/2" from where it is on the TV, but it's inside the curve. It's about 2 1/2" out from the left & right edge of the TV.

• It looks as if you need 15" from to back. It's curved and takes up space in back and front. I would mount on wall. Mantle sounds too risky.
