“We connected our soundbar via Bluetooth and it works but when we adjust the volume with the remote the numbers go up & down but the actual sound doesn't get louder or quieter. We can adjust the sound by pushing it on the actual soundbar but not the remote”

• Hi Molly, The Samsung TV Remote can only control your Soundbar if it is connected via HDMI or Optical. I hope this helps! ~Samsung Advisor

• Make sure your HDMI cord is ARC compatible and that you are plugged into the ARC HDMI port. Not all HDMI cords carry the ability to control the sound.
