A:Answer I looked through the app offerings extensively and could not find any DirecTV app. Spectrum, however, does seem to offer its cable lineup through an app in thus tv. Not pay per view, though. Until DirecTV catches up this advantage for Spectrum represents one of the first time since DirecTV came out I will begin to recommend cable to my clients (I’m an Av professional). Not having to integrate a cable box or satellite receiver makes it incredibly easy to add speakers to your tv. Universal remotes which I’ve hated for years even though it’s my job to sell and program them basically become obsolete with this setup unless you need to add a Blu-ray or another external source.
