“Question on mounting the television, what is the measurement in inches between the top of the television and the first mounting screw. I have a max height of 38 inches for the TV itself and an 8 inch delta between top of the TV and first screw.”

The measurement in inches between the top of the television and center line of the first mounting screw us 11 1/2 inches.

From the top of TV to first hole to mount is 12". From that top mount to bottom mount is 16". From bottom mount to bottom of TV is 5". We had a wall mount with our plasma TV and it could not mount this TV. The newer TV's have different mounting areas. We had to replace our wall mount with a new one.
