“How can I connect something to the HDMI input if my tv is already hanging on the wall? I have a fixed tv mount so I can’t pull it away from the wall. Wondering if I’m missing something because they’re normally on the sides of newer models.”

As with most TV sets I have seen the connectors are in an indent on the back of the set. These are difficult to reach without having full access to the back. I went to a mounting system that pulls out from the wall. This both allows greater choice of viewing angle as well as easy access to connectors. More expensive than a wall mount but affordable and recommended as I don't have to worry about removing a TV to access connectors.
