All 4 HDMI ports support 4K and HDCP 2.2. Only HDMI 4 supports ARC, which is typical for most TVs. Optical audio can be used for a soundbar but it would be best to have a soundbar with ARC support to take advantage of that feature. See www.rtings.com for an in-depth review of the TV too. They do a very good job of going through EVERYTHING on a TV.
