• I have had that happen once or twice. I found my issue was when i went from watching something on my dvr to watching it live. It had a delay. I just deleted the show on the dvr and that cleard it right up

• Have had problems with sound nothing to do with TV. It turned out to be my cable provider, call them they can reset your cable box. They will send a signal to the box and increase the volume, they do it without sending anyone or charging you.
