“How can I reduce the glaring, practically blinding "whiteness" to my screen when it goes to a white pic, as well as the white banners streaming across the bottom of the news channels?Gives me a headache and is not tolerable!Need to lower the backlighting”

• I agree the white is really bright...we adjusted the contrast to a lower setting and this seemed to help...

• Check the TV settings. You should be able to revise the brightness so it is not annoying.
