It depends if content going thru your Comcast box is encrypted, which I am 99% sure they are then the answer is no, you will need your box still. If you plan on going cut the cord method, ( streaming, disc's, ) then yes you can with an inexpensive device to receive local broadcast station's ( attaches to your coaxial port, not necessary but does helps pull in the free signal's ) Please check with your local station's on their broadcast signal's .
