Yes to all. You will need to add the sub woofer and two PLAY speakers for a full 5.1. The only cable will be the fiber optic between the PLAYBAR and the TV CPU module. All can be controlled through the TV remote.

This TV will pass through a 5.1 Dolby signal received from HDMI through to the optical audio cable (TOSLINK), but it will NOT pass through 5.1 DTS received from HDMI. This means you will not always get a 5.1 signal from this TV if it is receiving the signal from HDMI.
