The one connect cable is thin like a shoe lace, but permanently attached to each end are the connection clips for tv and box. So the holes in your wall need to provide approx 2" clearance for the clips.

A 2” hole is drilled for the “mini” size and the connector that fits in the back of the One Connect box will barely pass through. The connection which fits into the back of the TV would require a much larger opening, however.
