It depends on how the movie was filmed, and how it displays on your TV. It if was filmed in a 16:9 aspect ratio and you are projecting the same, you stand a better chance of pushing out to the bezel. If it was filmed 4:3 and you are displaying 16:9, or contrarily if you are displaying 4:3 and it was filmed 16:9 you are going to get black bars either on top or the sides. The larger problem is that we can't reproduce on our TV's/LCD's/LED's/OLED's/QLED's/et al what the theaters can, largely because the way movies are filmed are by design intended to be displayed on the large screen. TV shows, for those who still watch them, are a different animal. There is no demand for quality and clarity, so they are filmed in a format that is TV friendly. There are no guarantees of satisfaction, and often anything we see from the Movies is so downscaled that there are disclaimers at the end of the shows that explain the drastic differences.
