If you have another Samsung device connected to the TV like a DVD player, blue ray player etc when you are pressing power button to turn the TV of it might be turning the attached device on and when that device turns on it automatically turns your tv on and well; this is what my guess is happening with you. Try to point the remote up towards the TV when powering off and see if that helps.
