“Does this Q60A series run an Android OS and will I be able to load apps from the Google App Store or is the TV strictly limited only to preloaded apps?”

I was able to download additional apps, like PLEX.

as far as I can tell you can only get apps approved from Samsung hub but that's most tv's even android tv's with google app store are limited to the apps you can get installed. this Samsung Q60A does not have google app store. there are work arounds to get apps for some tv's on YouTube but each situation is different.

Slowride45 - Samsung TVs are powered by our Tizen OS; you can choose and download from hundreds of apps that can be found within the built-in App Store. ^Gina
