I do use this TV outside and I am now going on my third year with it. I bring it in for winter, but it is under the overhang of the house and I have a cover for it. The only issue I have is glare with the Q80A since I do not believe this has the anti glare, so I am currently looking for an anti glare film. other than that I have had zero issues.

Its not anywhere in the paper work ar manual. They have certain TVs that are made for it. The employees at Best Buy will be ablemto assist with that information.. and help with the correct model search to fill your needs.
