Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi there. I had my TV installed by Geek Squad so I didn’t pay attention to how the base was attached. I do know that your new TV is still under warranty and you can call Geek Squad and they can help you over the phone . Since it is new, still under manufacturer warranty and they are obligated to help. Hope this helps. (800) 433-5778
