“Does this tv gets really hot when operating at 50% brightness? Hot meaning like a space heater with temp reaching in the 90 degrees F. I plan on putting this in my bedroom but I don't want it to heat the room. Room is about 20 ft by 20 ft. Thank You.”

Hi Nick - The Q80A TV will not run hot; if you should ever experience any heat issues with this unit, please contact Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG / Available 8AM – 12AM EST 7 days a week. Please also keep in mind the following when installing your TV: - Do not place this apparatus near or over a radiator or heat register, or where it is exposed to direct sunlight. - When you install your TV, maintain a distance of at least 4 inches between the TV and other objects (walls, cabinet sides, etc.) to ensure proper ventilation. If the TV does not have proper ventilation, it may increase the TV's internal temperature. ^Gina
