A:AnswerOne thing I have always noticed about Samsung is they are less than honest about what their screens are. Even on their own site they tell you everything about the tv's EXCEPT what the screen is. I personally believe this is because they know if the public see's a screen they don't like, the tv will not sell. THIS tv has what they call a "IPS - ADS" screen. Which means it's a variation on the IPS displays. These screen are harder(So the tap test won't show any rainbow effect), they are "supposed" to be better with colors BUT they suffer from lack of brightness and contrast.

A:AnswerShort answer is the qn80b is a neo pixel. Smaller pixels better resolution and also better local dimming due to the smaller pixels. And the q80b is more of a standard qled panel. With Samsungs tech. Price is where you would see the biggest difference
