Hi Mike, Tizen is the operating system that Samsung uses on their TV's, it is what will run apps that are downloaded to the TV. Magnolia is a term used by Best Buy referring to in store viewing rooms at a store, TV are usually listed as Magnolia TV when they can be found at a best buy in Magnolia section of the store. ^Celina
