• Hi there, Feel free to use HDMI 4 at will. Though once you get a HDMI 2.1 source you'll want to prioritize that into HDMI 4 to engage its full capability. -Scott

• I have my Xfinity plugged into HDMI 1, I use port 4 for gaming I think that’s what it’s really made for. It shouldn’t make any difference though where you plug into because the t.v will detect it and use the best settings for that device.
