It is UL rated, BUT at the time of writing this response, you cannot get the in-wall rated cable from anyone, including Samsung. It makes me wonder if this is an up-sell on their part. If safety was such an issue, why is this not more readily available and why do you have to shell out an extra $220 get it?

Please try again later.I ran my one connect cable thru the wall for my 2019 Q90R, but you have to make sure there are no obstructions in the wall that might damage the cable. It has to be a straight drop. Though the cable is sturdy, it is also thin by design, treat it with care. Hope this helps.
