Does the TV remote control a Cox DVR box? null

The remote does have a lot of customization, but cable boxes tend to still require their own remotes. I would suggest checking if Cox has an app for streaming your TV with DVR access that way. Most cable systems are migrating to that standard, and I would recommend doing that if available as the built in TV user interface is well designed
