“I was thinking of using a different mount. Box says it's VESA. But then it'd stick out of the wall 2.25 in, and then the tv. Does anyone know if that would look ok when displaying art?”

The mount that it came with is perfect. Looks just like framed art.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue. When the TV sticks out from the wall that far, it no longer resembles artwork. I recommend using the mount that comes with the TV.
