It's kind of in between...at least for the 2021 version. It's definitely toward the matte end of the spectrum, but it does have a little glare. I have read that the new ones coming out for 2022 are UL certified low glare, which would be really cool. That having been said, most people think it's a picture when they come into our room and see the family picture on it, so it must not be too bad. It's pretty awesome.
