“I would like to utilize the 4-way venting to exit from the side of the dryer in lieu of the back. While I see the knockout on the dryer side I do not see how to access the rear of the blower to add the 90 degree vent elbow inside the dryer.”

There is a separate kit you need to purchase and you have to disassemble the majority of the dryer to access the junctions, including removing the top, front, and drum.
