While this model isn't Energy Star certified under the new guidelines, it does feature the energy saving Sensor Dry technology so it detects moisture and adjusts the drying time as needed. • Yes it is an energy efficient model. It has a moisture sensor so not to over dry your clothes, thus not wasting energy.
