• When installed you will have a "Y" connector placed on the cold water outlet. Then one hose is connected to the washer and the other is connected to the dryer.

• yes. comes with a 12 inch hose. I had to purchase a longer one since the connection on the dryer is on the lower level and my water connection is about top dryer level.

• yes, It will be a Y connector off of the regular water connections/hoses
