“Dryer Vent If I am facing the front of the dryer, which side can I move the vent to? If I wanted to vent from the bottom, do I need the pedestal?”

• Mine set up with the vent at the center in the bottom, which is where I needed it. I do not have a pedestal, and no you do not need it to vent.

• Thanks for the questions. The DV393GTPAWR, like other Samsung gas dryers, can be vented out the back, bottom or left side; they can't be vented out the right side due to the location of the gas connection. If you wish to change from rear venting to either the bottom or left side, you'll need to purchase the DV-1A vent conversion kit. If you vent out the bottom, you cannot mount the dryer on a pedestal. - Ms. Samsung
