• No. It has to be a dryer outlet. The dryer is set up for either 3 or 4 wire plug cord which you have to purchase separately. So, if your dryer outlet has 3 holes then you want to buy a 3 wire plug cord.

• The manual states it requires either a standard 220v 3-wire, or 4-wire plug and outlet. I used a 4-wire plug for mine, and would recommend if possible so you have the extra ground.
