“First time use and it blinks "Dryer" with arrow pointing to Cooling. Is that normal? Also, there's no heat felt in dryer. Lint drawer is clear and dryer vent was professionally cleaned days before dryer was used.”

There are several things to consider with your concern and one of which is that the dryer may have moved into the cool-down phase of the cycle. I have included the user manual link below.
