• No dedicated water line needed. Mine is hooked up to the water line same as the washer.

• If you plan on using the steam. My husband connected it to the washing machine water source. I haven't used the steam as of yet. Don't know if you can just not connect and just not use the steam.

• You will need a splitter added to the cold line that runs to your washer. An additional hose will be needed to run from that splitter to the dryer for the Steam Sanitize+ function to work.
